When I’m at a community event in Steinbach or meeting someone new at a local coffee shop, and they ask what I do, the simple answer is, “I’m a mortgage broker.”
It’s a title that implies spreadsheets, interest rates, and bank contracts. And while those things are certainly part of my day-to-day, they don’t even begin to cover what actually happens when a client trusts me with their home financing.
After years of helping families in Southeast Manitoba, I’ve realized that being a mortgage professional means wearing a lot of different hats. To my clients, I am often so much more than a broker.
